What we love
Bay@5 is one of the coolest hotel bars in Singapore, and a great place to enjoy a cocktail or two whilst admiring the city skyline.
Setting the scene
Located in Marina Centre, all sides of the Hotel provide different, yet astonishing views of the city. View the gorgeous skyline, unique floating stadium or recently built Singapore flyer. The hotel itself undoubtedly has a modern and luxurious feel, it boasts clean cut and high quality detailing and has a contemporary feel right from the lobby through to the en-suites.
Containing over 500 rooms, floors 1-17 have a variety of rooms mainly differentiated by size and view, depending on the location within the building. A contemporary yet understated style works fantastically in a prime location of Singapore. Floors 19-21 are for Oriental Club members and these rooms offer various benefits including a plush hotel lounge, panoramic views, late check outs and more.
With 7 eateries, you are spoilt for choice. Experience modern and theatrical Japanese in Teppan-ya. Contemporary and impeccable is both how you'd describe the decor and the cuisine in Dolce Vita, even eat by the pool if you prefer. The World Cafe explain quite simply the international feel of this restaurant, as fine attention to detail will be found here and dine Al Fresco if you wish, a la carte or buffet. Enjoy Seafood and Steak in Mortons, with succulent food and even watch the chefs in action. Cherry Garden is one of the most beautiful restaurants going, join that with the exquisite Cantonese cuisine we think it's a must! There are views to die for at Bay@5 while enjoying cocktails and light snack.
Mandarin Oriental does food and drink brilliantly, but after a long day, beautiful meal or simply to start your day then the 6 treatment rooms, gym and Jacuzzi options are for you. The modern and luxurious theme is re created in the spa and the authentic treatments on offer from the local professionals here at fantastic. Next door is the Marina Bay Sands shopping centre where an array of international shops can be found, however Orchard Road is where high end fashion come out to play. If tourist attractions and landmarks are your thing then a variety of them can be found nearby. The hotel boasts a ballroom, boardrooms, an outside reception area and first class technology never far away. Whether business or pleasure, family or no family then this hotel has thought of it all.
This is a child friendly hotel with a huge variety of bedrooms and suites available. The staff are professional, helpful and willing and the location is brilliant for day trips. The train service is a world away from the Piccadilly line and the taxi's a pleasant and well priced ride. We thoroughly recommend the Mandarin Oriental for families of all sizes and ages.
