What we love
A fantastic example of decadence and uninterrupted views of the Caribbean Sea. The Villas and Cove Suites are jewel in the crown of the resort - situated away from the main resort - allowing guests to enjoy seclusion and privacy.
Setting the scene
One of Antigua's longest established resorts, Blue Waters is an intimate, family owned hotel with a warm, friendly atmosphere and boasts superb service. Its beautiful rooms and suites (with spacious lounge area) are nestled among the wonderful flowering hibiscus and shady palm trees or are just yards from the sands complete with breath-taking views of the Caribbean Sea. This is a dream come true if you're looking to spend quality time away from it all - swim, sail, canoe, or just enjoy the beautiful weather and surroundings. Birdlife such as hummingbirds, pelicans and egrets can be found in the wonderful gardens, as well as a sumptuous array of flowers.
Privacy, seclusion and luxury are the name of the game at Blue Waters. The Cove Suites offer unrivalled decadence and uninterrupted views of the pristine ocean. Cleverly situated away from the main hub of the resort guests can dip in or out as much as they wish whilst also being close to the sumptuous Cove Restaurant and spa.
For even more exclusivity why not take over your very own villa on the resort? Pelican cottage (3 or 6 bedroom set up), Turtle cottage (4 bedrooms) and Rock cottage (2 or 5 bedroom set up) are quite simply 'home away from home', with crisp, airy and luxurious furnishings - perfect for whiling away the evenings or sitting round your own private pool and terrace.
Offering a choice of three restaurants, you can enjoy local cuisine in the Palm Restaurant, serving meals three times a day, with lovely views overlooking the beach and sea. The Cove Restaurant, nestled upon a cliff top, boasts unbeatable views overlooking the sea and is surrounded by beautiful sunset views and tropical beaches. For something a little special, the elegantly appointed Bartley's Restaurant offers fine dining meals based on Asian cuisine (please note, this restaurant is exclusively for adults).
Make the most of one of the best bits of the island - the beach! - and enjoy complimentary windsurfing, kayaking, snorkelling and Hobie cats just off the shore. The resort also has three swimming pools, a fitness centre, tennis court, and spa: more than enough to keep you busy until your well-deserved pina colada at the Pelican Bar (highly recommended!!)
Blue Waters is incredibly family friendly and offers a kids club and activities for children aged from 18 months to 12 years. The in-house 'secret garden' activity and play area is available 5 days a week - offering activities such as arts and crafts, tag rugby, treasure hunts and dancing. The kids club is charged as extra and we highly recommend pre-booking due to it's popularity!
Blue Waters is an easy 15 minute drive from the island's international airport.
