What we love
Cobblers Cove has the feel of being welcomed in to a tranquil, elegant and intimate private home, set in stunning gardens and with an enviable location right on a beautiful stretch of beach. The food here is also amongst the best on the island.
Setting the scene
The white exterior of the beautiful Colonial house sits against the blue ocean and lush, tropical gardens. Right in the heart of the Platinum coast, the most desirable area of Barbados, Cobblers cove has recently undergone some very positive changes, including a new Management Team and some room refurbishment, but without altering the personal, refined and relaxed environment that brings so many guests back time and time again to this charming, small hotel.
There are 40 suites set in the original Plantation house and the surrounding buildings. The design cleverly maintains the light and creamy feel right the way through. Various room categories offers options for everyone and the views are breathtaking.
At The Camelot Restaurant, set right on the beach, the food is innovative and fresh, serving both traditional and modern Caribbean dishes. There are also themed nights such as barbecue and seafood caviar and the service is warm and friendly. It is evident that the hotel is doing everything possible to maintain its reputation as serving some of the best food on the island - the wonderful seafood lunch here was the culinary highlight of our trip to Barbados.
Rest or play, whichever you choose, whenever you choose. Complementary watersports include waterskiing, snorkelling and wind surfing. Diving in the area is fantastic. Swim with Hawksbill turtles, play tennis under pro guidance, enjoy the state of the art gym and spa, take a private yoga lesson on the beach or enjoy the amazing golf nearby. However, having spent time at the hotel, we would simply recommend lazing by the beachfront pool and spending time in the beautiful gardens.
During the school holiday periods there are kids clubs catering for teenagers and younger children. Cobblers Cove is a fantastic place for children of all ages to make memories for life in a hotel with a lovely 'family' feel to it and the interconnecting rooms and suites also make it a perfect destination for that special family holiday.
It is a 45 minute drive from Grantley Adams International Airport.
