What we love
Formerly a police station, it is fitting, therefore, that the décor in Villa Chiusa is all about tasteful luxury, rather than ostentation. Quality and measured class ooze from this stunning property.
Villa Chiusa is the finely-furnished, gloriously inviting reincarnation of a former police station. Today, sleeping quarters for up to eight are spread across the main residence and a guest house. The private enclave also features a pool house, with kitchenette and bathroom, which services the heated infinity pool. From here, guests will enjoy superb views of nearby Montalcino.
Set in Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, one of Tuscany’s largest private estates, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Val d’Orcia, terrace views of the Tuscan countryside will both inspire, and confirm just why this region is of such cultural, environmental and artistic significance, and became the birthplace of the European Renaissance.
For al fresco dining, the terrace overlooks landscaped lawns and gardens. As with all villas on the Estate, the Riccardo Barthel-designed kitchen is pure Italian style combined with practical details to make cooking a pleasure. Personal chefs can be arranged for your stay if desired.
