What we love
The sheer luxury of Villa Stabbi′s interior only serves to draw the guest′s attention out through the original French doors, all the more to the astounding natural beauty which awaits you. It exists in perfect harmony with the ancient oak trees and rolling hills of the Sienese landscape it inhabits.
Renovated Tuscan farmhouse Villa Stabbi retains original features including beamed ceilings and a grand open fireplace, alongside state-of-the-art technology and media systems (cleverly hidden, of course!), for guests’ convenience and ease. Authentic French doors from the living and dining areas draw in plenty of the famous, rarefied Tuscan light, and in the evenings, frame the most breathtaking sunsets you are ever likely to see.
Invoking the rich heritage and colour palette of the Sienese countryside, it is easy to detect the minute attention to detail paid in the design and furnishing of Villa Stabbi. Textiles, antiques and one-off pieces by local craftsmen, respecting local methods and traditions, are expertly united to create a space which is at once opulent and cosmopolitan.
For al fresco dining, the garden features a wood-fired pizza oven and overlooks a manicured lawn and garden of ancient oak trees, and the villa features a private natural stone swimming pool, pool house and terrace. As with all villas on the Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco Estate, the Riccardo Barthel-designed kitchen is pure Italian style combined with practical details to make cooking a pleasure. Personal chefs can be arranged for your stay if desired.
