What we love
The beachfront location of this resort is fantastic! The Puente Romano manages to seamlessly combine luxury and indulgence with activity and energy giving it universal appeal.
Setting the scene
Set in colourful Mediterranean gardens the Puente Romano is a beach resort with an array of facilities and attention to detail surpassing all expectations. Whether you spend your days relaxing on the beach or by the pools, sipping a cocktail or making use of the tennis club or golf courses you will experience excellent service throughout. The Puente Romano brings sophistication and style to the traditional beach holiday.
At the Puente Romano, rooms, suites and grand suites are all finished to the same high standards, incorporating Mediterranean colours and decor, marbled flooring in the bathrooms and a balcony to enjoy the Andalucian sunshine. Upgrading to the suites gives guests more space with an extended living area and larger bathrooms with separate shower and bath. The Grand Suites are larger still with whirlpool baths and generous outdoor terraces, taking full advantage of their prime positions at the resort.
Puente Romano certainly won't disappoint with its gastronomic options serving delicacies from all over the world. The 2 brothers that own Serafina have made it a popular restaurant in Marbella, known for the friendly service, great Italian food and pleasant alfresco terrace. The Sea Grill is another outstanding restaurant and a popular spot for seafood dining with an ocean view. Other restaurant choices include fresh sushi at the Japanese themed Namazake, brasserie style dining at Bibo and traditional Andalucian flavours given the Michelin star treatment at Dani Garcia Restaurante. For casual all day dining, refreshments or an evening sundowner cocktail try Del Mar at the Beach Club.
Make the most of the beach with the numerous water sports available including jet skis, water bicycles and paddle surfing. The water sports season runs in the warmer months from April to October. For guaranteed water temperatures try the Beach Club Pool, perfect for a swim or relaxing in the sun. During the summer season the Central Pool and Main Pool are both open for a refreshing swim surrounded by the lush botanical gardens. A fully equipped on site gym with personal trainers, yoga and Pilates classes are available to guests. There is no spa on site however guests are welcome at the Thalassa Spa just 10 minutes away.
Family friendly accommodation is available in a number of different room types making this resort very accessible for those travelling with children. The Children's Pool (only in summer season) gives kids their own space for splashing about while the Kid's Club offers a range of fun and educational activities including crafts, sports and games. The Kids Club is open to children between the ages of 4 and 10 and for the months of July and August as well as UK half term dates.
