What we love
Luxurious, country-house in the sublime English countryside where you feel relaxed from the moment you arrive. Play polo with the Guards, wander the Great Park, rejuvenate in the eco-spa and unleash your sense of adventure at Coworth Park.
Setting the scene
Located on the borders of Windsor Great Park, in 240 acres of picturesque parkland, the rather grand, yet unstuffy Coworth Park welcomes you for a relaxing retreat. Embracing all things British - from the sublime countryside, to the traditional 'best of British' menu, and polo lessons with the Guards Polo Club, you can indulge in the life of royalty here - and have a bit of fun too.
The main mansion house at Coworth Park is home to 30 rooms, which boast fabulous Georgian style with an eccentric decorative flair. Four-poster beds, English oak-smoked flooring blend with contemporary features to ensure you have all the mod cons you could need. A short walk from the mansion, 40 rooms in assorted stables and cottages offer a contemporary, equestrian-themed style, and being self-contained offer a little more seclusion. The jewel in the crown is the Dower House, a grade II listed Georgian residence with three bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, lounge and snug. It also has its own garden with a stream running through it, home to a family of swans; it can't get more quintessentially English than that!
Coworth Park features three unique restaurants: At Restaurant Coworth Park, the chefs take a modern twist on the classical British dishes, making the most of local and seasonal ingredients to create top fine-dining cuisine. The Barn is the ultimate for comfort food and the countryside views from the bar on the first floor are sensational - no need to ditch the muddy boots here though as it's totally relaxed. The Spatisserie - located within the Spa, serves up nutritionally-balanced dishes for breakfast and lunch, whilst afternoon tea in the Drawing Room is a magnificent treat! Enjoy a cocktail at the Hotel Bar in a contemporary setting, which stays open for guests until 1am.
Take part in typically English activities such as tennis, croquet, go horse riding or take polo lessons with Guards Polo Club on one of Coworth Park's two professional polo fields. Whatever your level or ambition for horse-riding the hotel's equestrian centre is open to all.
The eco-luxury spa is stunning, making the most of the natural surroundings, embracing light and countryside views at every turn. Built over two floors there are eight treatment rooms, a manicure/pedicure salon, steam room and an inviting indoor pool with underwater music.
Children are welcome to roam and play in the spacious grounds of Coworth Park. There's a kids club for 2-8 year olds, packed with arts, crafts and adventure activities; a teen den complete with films and computer games, exclusively for over 8s; and outdoor activities arranged by the kids club supervisors. Mountain biking, horse-riding, football, tennis and croquet are available and the indoor pool is great for kids. Under 16s are welcome in the spa, but not allowed in the steam room or gym at any time. The Barn offers informal dining perfect for lively children.
