What we love
If you want to experience London at its heart, 45 Park Lane takes some beating! With its breathtaking views of the city, its central location, and its outstanding facilities, it's a truly all-round experience.
Setting the scene
Oozing opulence from its prime location overlooking one of the Royal Parks of London, 45 Park Lane is a state-of-the-art hotel; home to The Cut, a modern steak restaurant and brainchild of internationally-acclaimed chef Wolgang Puck. It also boasts decadent interiors designed by New York-based Thierry Despont; not to mention front-row seats to one of the greatest people-watching shows in the city!
Sleeping is not likely to be top of the agenda at 45 Park Lane, with unsurpassable views of leafy Hyde Park, especially from the Executive Queens with their corner rooms giving double the pleasure, and of course the Penthouse with its panoramic vista; a perfect place to really get a feel for London's vibrancy whilst taking full advantage of the Host assigned to meet your every need, whether as a personal assistant, butler or concierge.
For those for whom eating is as much a part of the experience as sleeping, 45 Park Lane is home to world-renowned Austrian chef Wolfgang Puck's The Cut. A modern steak restaurant, it offers, as the name suggests, outstanding steaks, using prime dry and wet aged beef. For those less meat-inclined there is also fresh fish and salads, not to mention a superb wine list carefully selected to compliment each dish.
Guests may also enjoy the award-winning restaurants and bars at the sister hotel, The Dorchester, also located on Park Lane; why not pop along for afternoon tea at The Promenade and watch the world go by. Or for something a little more private, the Media Room is available for up to 12 seated from where you can enjoy the same culinary delights that the hotel has to offer whilst catching up with friends or a screening of the latest blockbuster.
With Hyde Park on the doorstep, its open spaces beckoning, there's not much time for sitting around. Borrow a Brompton Bicycle from the hotel and enjoy a leisurely turn around the park. Or for more vigorous entertainment, there are tennis courts and horseback riding. Of course the city itself is renowned for its culture; take in a show or visit some of the many cultural hotspots London has to offer.
At the end of a tiring day's shopping or boating on the Serpentine, guests can take advantage of 45 Park Lane's army of massage therapists who will be happy to indulge you in a variety of treatments, such as the 45 Park Lane Experience (don't ask, just enjoy!). There are also treats awaiting you at The Dorchester, such as The Dorchester Spa and Fitness Studio.
There are no amenities for children.
45 Park Lane is just two-minutes' walk from Hyde Park Corner underground station.
