Four Seasons Dubai

237 Rooms & Suites

Setting the scene

Set on a pristine natural beach, Four Seasons Resort at Jumeirah Beach blends Arabic themes and modern style to create a light and sophisticated ambience. Just five stories high it sits comfortably with its coastal neighbours and is relatively modest on the outside; but step inside and glamour oozes from every pore. From the gold-leaf ceiling of the lobby to the Murano glass handrails in the lifts, every tiny detail has been well thought through. Only ten minutes from the hotel is the city's malls and bazaars of the commercial district.

Sleeping

The 237 ultra-spacious rooms - including 49 suites - offer views of the Arabian Gulf on one side and Burj Khalifa and the down town skyline on the other. Some of the largest in Dubai, each of the rooms and suites open onto an immense private balcony, big enough to fit a daybed and a dining table. Large windows and sliding doors make the most of the view. The bathrooms are sheer indulgence with freestanding tubs and a mosaic-tile featured wall. 3 suites on the top floor include their own media room, private gym and terrace to enjoy the panoramic views, whilst the Royal Suite includes its own gym, spa, butler's room and piano.

Eating

Choose from 10 of the best restaurants and lounges in Dubai. Suq, meaning 'market' in Arabic serves international food in a lively market-style setting with an outdoor terrace looking out over the garden and pools to the sea. At Sea Fu enjoy Mediterranean and Asian-influenced seafood in an elegant setting, whilst Sea Fu Terrace offers a relaxed poolside Asian grill - great for daytime diners. Morning tea is essential in the Shai Salon, whilst the warm, inviting Hendrick's Bar is a great meeting point for cocktails and cigars. The Mercury Lounge is not to be missed - a chic rooftop bar overlooking the Dubai skyline and the Arabian Gulf, it's a very exclusive socialising spot. In-room dining is also a treat that should be experienced at least once during your stay here - why else have a dining table on your balcony?

Doing

Spend lazy sun-drenched days by the 2 outdoor pools; a quiet adult-only one or an active pool aimed at slightly splashier families; or use up a little more energy in the indoor lap pool. The 24-hour fitness centre overlooks the pool with floor-to-ceiling windows and boasts the latest fitness equipment, plus a whirlpool, sauna and steam room. The 2 tennis courts, jogging trail and yoga, Pilates and spinning classes ensure you're never bored! The lavish spa is a pampering delight, with 10 spacious treatment rooms, deluxe aqua-thermal experiences, traditional healing rituals and all the grooming services you could desire. At the Beach Club, set on 270 metres of pristine white sand, make the most of the sun loungers, parasols and refreshments, or try your hand at non-motorised water sports, such as kayaking, paddleboards and paddle boats. At night, a luxury campfire feature adds to the beachside ambience.

Playing

Great for families, the Four Seasons Resort Dubai has thought of everything. From children's bathrobes and toiletries to special dinner menus in the restaurant, little ones are made to feel welcome - and the Concierge is excellent at arranging special requirements. The Kids for All Seasons programme for children aged 5 to 12 years offers supervised fun and educational experiences, taking advantage of the lush grounds at the resort.
