Setting the scene
Built in the shape of an Egyptian pyramid, Raffles Dubai offers a memorable experience in the heart of this amazing city. Surrounded by exotic botanical gardens, the hotel is a calm oasis in the middle of a bustling city. The rooms all come with a private balcony from which to survey the city lights in peace, and to soak in the energy that this city is famous for.
The hotel has 252 rooms and suites, all of which come with a large private balcony and complimentary butler service. The views from the balconies, especially at night, are quite simply breathtaking. The rooms are spacious and elegantly styled in Moroccan kilim colours. The bathrooms are luxurious with vast sunken tubs and incredible rainfall showerheads. You will find handcrafted decorative elements in every room - traditional motifs on the carpets, the mashrabiya (carved wood latticework) technique on bathroom doors and shutters, and so on. Truly beautiful.
Raffles Dubai is home to 6 eating and drinking venues. Tomo offers an authentic Japanese dining experience at the pinnacle of the pyramid, with stunning views of Dubai's skyline - It is not be missed! Azur Restaurant looks out over the lushly beautiful hotel gardens, and provides an exciting menu with a choice of international and local cuisine. The Crossroads Cocktail Bar is the place to kick back and relax, inside or out, with a cocktail and a flavoured shisha. The Pool Restaurant and Bar is perfect for a light meal and a fresh juice, and you can go in your swimwear, so long as you're wearing some kind of footwear. Dining at this hotel is a culinary delight!
There is a vibrant exciting city to explore just outside the hotel's doors but inside you can indulge in some truly decadent experiences. The Spa features some exclusive treatments inspired by the best of Middle Eastern, European and Asian traditions. Located in the Raffles gardens, the Spa holds the philosophy, 'observe the lotus' and the treatments take you through the 3 stages of growth - bud (body), blossom (beauty) and bloom (full experiences). You will leave feeling like you have been reborn and in full flower - Blissful! There is also a state-of-the-art fitness centre complete with personal trainers - for those guests who need that exercise hit! The gardens are a beautiful relaxing place to stroll around, or to just sit and breathe in the serenity. If you need to soak in the sun then you can do so poolside at the outdoor swimming pool, or if you fancy reading a book then head down to the extensive Raffles library.
Children are very welcome at Raffles Dubai and the staff ensure that kids have as memorable an experience here as the adults. The Playzone is a great area for kids to let their hair down, and the hotel will also arrange trips and activities to suit your children's needs. Wafi Mall is home to The Encounter Zone, which is a well-supervised entertainment area for your teens and younger ones. The mall is connected to the hotel and can be accessed through the lobby. Babysitting is also available on request.
