What we love

If the pavilions and maisons with their incredible courtyards and pools don't sweep you off your feet, the service from welcome to departure will. Great accommodation, wonderful dining and the ultimate in Moroccan hospitality.

Amanjena, Marrakesh

39 Rooms & Suites

Setting the scene

The Amanjena feels palatial from the main building to the accommodation in the Pavilions and Maisons, from the welcome received on arrival to the serving of morning coffee, prepare to feel pampered. With traditional Moorish architecture and Berber design influencing the look of the hotel you are never in any doubt of the Arabian location.

Sleeping

The pavilions of the Amanjena are strikingly spacious and private and offer a refreshing retreat from the Moroccan sun in summer and warmth from the cool evenings. Finished with Moroccan touches to add to the ambience there is a choice of Pavilions Bassin with courtyard views over the irrigation pool or the luxurious Pavilions Piscine which boast their own 25 metre heated pools set in private gardens. The 2 storey, 2 bedroom Maisons are your very own Moroccan town house with every home comfort and private heated swimming pool.

Eating

Being a distance out of the city itself, the in house dining options become so much more important but no need to worry, the Amanjena delivers, if anything, exceeding expectations. The Pool Terrace offers casual dining for breakfast and lunch, overlooking the pool and the golf course in the morning sun. The Thai Restaurant is a surprise. Not traditional Moroccan fare but a wonderfully delicious menu that comes highly recommended. The Thai is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Restaurant is the Amanjena's signature restaurant and presents a menu of Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine to tempt the taste buds. The Restaurant is impressive in it's mix of Berber designs and Moorish architecture, the finishing touch to the dining experience. You can also choose to dine within your pavilion or ask about special occasion locations such as the olive grove or Caidal Tent.
