Setting the scene

Comfortable accommodations include 643 rooms in the hotel, 119 casitas, and a number of residential-style suites. Full-width sliding glass doors lead to a private terrace or balcony in each room type with differing views of the resort's dramatic surroundings. If you want to be within easy reach of the Phoenician's main amenities, the 119 luxury casitas are just a short stroll from the hotel lobby set on the edge of the tropical Necklace Lake. Spacious one and two-bedroom suites present ideal options for families or small groups.

Eating

With a choice of around 10 restaurants and lounges, guest are spoilt for choice at the Phoenician. Il Terrazzo is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner with contemporary Italian dishes - the artisan bread, baked fresh every day is bellissimo! The world-renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten inspires a mouth-watering menu at the J&G Steakhouse, complemented by an award-winning wine menu and stunning views of the city and desert beyond. For a more casual option, Relish Burger Bistro, overlooking the golf course, is just the ticket with juicy burgers, sides and a cocktail; one of Arizona's largest tequila collections is housed here! |For live music and spirits with awesome views, spend an evening at the Thirsty Camel. Relaxed poolside dining can be enjoyed at the Oasis Pool Bar & Grill, or 'grab n' go' refreshments can be found at 19th Hole. To cool down on a hot day, stop by the Cafe & Ice Cream Parlor for homemade ice cream, pastries and coffee, or sample a charming afternoon tea at the Lobby Tea Court.

For activities, there's the spectacular championship 27-hole golf course - one of the top 75 in the USA. Tennis enthusiasts will love the Tennis Garden, featuring 11 courts of various surfaces, with pros on hand to run clinics to help you perfect your ace. |The Well-Being Spa embraces the serenity of the desert with a blend of Old World therapies and innovative spa services to invigorate the body and spirit. The vast facilities include 24 treatment rooms, fitness classes, weight training and cardiovascular studios, a full service salon and a Meditation Atrium. |The pool complex features seven sparkling pools with attendants who regularly deliver towels and pitchers of ice water. The Phoenician is located 14km from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, just a few minutes car journey from the airport. Car hire is popular for guests as the hotel is conveniently located for exploring the local attractions.
