Four Seasons Orlando

444 Rooms & Suites

Setting the scene

Four Seasons Resort Orlando is a stylish, contemporary resort, located right inside the gates of Florida's Walt Disney World; a high-end choice for those wanting to combine luxury with theme park attractions. Here you can enjoy exceptional service, an excellent choice of restaurants, beautiful landscaped grounds and luxury transfers to the theme parks. Explorer Island presents a world of fun for all the family, whilst a championship golf course, world-class spa and adults-only pool gives couples and adults the space to relax.

Sleeping

All of the 444 air-conditioned rooms are generously sized with private balconies, situated over 17 floors in one building. Upgrade to a higher floor (5th and above) to get the best views - especially to see the nightly Disney fireworks, which are truly magical. On the other side of the building, rooms overlook the Golden Oak properties or the surrounding lake. Mod-cons feature throughout, including a Nespresso coffee machine, a bedside button to activate the 'do not disturb' sign and TVs integrated into mirrors in the sumptuous marbled bathrooms. Suites gain a separate living room, Deluxe Suites add a second bathroom and the top-level Grand, Presidential and Royal Suites are big beyond belief!

Eating

You're bound to work up a good appetite at Four Seasons Orlando Resort and the choice of bars, cafes and four restaurants will help to keep the hunger at bay. The signature rooftop steakhouse Capa offers Spanish-influenced cuisine in a romantic setting, with the nightly fireworks illuminating the view. Tasty Italian dishes are served up in a live action 'show kitchen' at Ravello, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. The PB&G (Pool Bar & Grill) features Southern Smokehouse and Rotisserie cuisine in a lively setting over the lake and is great fun for a casual meal, whilst Plancha offers a golf clubhouse dining option. Take a light bite and latte at cafe Lickety Split, or treat yourself to a sweet treat from the pastry chef at Ravello Bar. By night, enjoy the cocktails, created with the help of a renowned St Louis mixologist, or choose a fine wine from the extensive choice of Italian vintages. If you're craving a Disney fix, character breakfasts with Goofy and Pals are arranged twice a week at the Ravello Restaurant.

Doing

Four Seasons Resort Orlando's Explorer Island is packed full of family-friendly features; full days can easily be spent here. Sports-lovers will enjoy the tennis courts, volleyball and basketball. The family pool has a gradual sloping 'beach entry' that's perfect for young swimmers. Listen to your favourite tunes on the underwater audio system and on select evenings, watch movies from your floating pool chair. The 'Mansion' is a games area with table-tennis, pool tables and bocce ball, whilst 'Drifters' is a lazy river that snakes around the Mansion, featuring two spray cannons, a cascading waterfall and an exciting rapids section. Thrill-seekers will love the 242-foot water slide, swooping down from the main building in a see-through tube before splashing into the water. Choreographed, interactive fountains provide hours of fun, with water blasting 30 feet into the air. For a calmer experience, the adult-only infinity pool with Jacuzzi is a tranquil area by the lake and the luxurious spa is perfect for relaxation. With 18 treatment rooms, two couples rooms and a separate beauty salon, there's plenty of ways to enjoy a spot of pampering. The secluded golf course, designed by Tom Fazio offers another peaceful escape, with beautiful scenery and wildlife in abundance. The complimentary theme park shuttle takes you to the action of the Walt Disney Resort and the on-site booking desk allows you to easily plan your experience to the Magic Kingdom.
