What we love

Best described as South Africa’s urban jungle, Cape Town is the playground of professionals, off duty models and those who enjoy the bohemian pace of life.

Luxury Cape Town Holidays

South Africa

The destination

When you think South Africa, do wilderness and games reserves flood to the forefront? Well quite rightly so. But don’t forget about South Africa’s alter ego – her sassy cities and chic waterfronts. In stark contrast to the rugged, wild outback lies her Mother City: Cape Town. Sat upon the southern tip of the country, Cape Town is a vibrant, eclectic city that embraces the African soul but exudes a Western welcome. The perfect pre- or post- stop off for those heading into the heart of South Africa’s game reserves, we urge you to spend at least a couple of nights in this the gateway to the jewel of Africa’s crown.

Boasting a seafront position, sandwiched between the great Atlantic Ocean and South Africa’s most iconic landmark, Table Mountain, the views and surroundings are as awe-inspiring as the atmosphere itself. Brimming with restaurants, cafes and bars, you can’t ignore these opportunities to kick back and relax with a glass of the legendary New World wines that are produced on Cape Town’s doorstep; Franschhoek & Stellenbosch. Never will these tipples taste so good than after a full days touring of the stunning Twelve Apostles mountain range or after a trip to South Africa’s southern Cape Point where the mighty Atlantic Ocean meets her Indian cousin.

And we know you’ll be hungry for more so make sure you tick off Table Mountain, Signal Hill, the penguins at Boulders Beach and Robben Island too. All within striking distance of South Africa’s (perhaps even the world’s) most perfectly positioned city. And enjoying a minimal time difference from the UK (just 2 hours), there will be no excuse for jet lag – although we will forgive you in wanting to take your time to explore this city, after all the local way of life is laid back so make like the wine and chill!

  • Push the boundaries and do a shark cage dive – you’re in with the best shot of seeing a Great White here.
  • Take to the skies with a helicopter tour of the Cape of Good Hope
