What we love
Located on the baron expanse of the Madikwe Game Reserve, each of the 5 individual lodges are a home away from home and offer elegant comfort in extraordinary nature.
Setting the scene
The 5 free-standing villas sit in brilliant loneliness amongst the vast area of land that boasts home to birds, mammals, creatures and fish. Begin to mix luscious green blades with tall trees and bare spaciousness and you have this wonderful land.
Unrivalled exclusivity and superb personal service are paramount here. The rooms are brilliantly clean cut and uncluttered whilst having tribal features giving the hotel a wonderfully South African feel that will remain timeless as the years go by.
Best safari cuisine in Africa 2014', we encourage you to see just why. The critically acclaimed Nico Verster oversees his team as they provide traditional dishes in a never seen before chic and colonial style. The colours on the plate will feast your eyes, the aromas engage your ears and the flavours explode in your mouth. Dining experiences that impressively match up the natural world of liveliness that roams the hotels 'front garden'.
There are morning and evening game drives where you can catch the wildlife going about their day to day duties, we recommend going on both whilst relaxing in between by taking advantage of the impeccable dining or magical spa treatments on offer. There are wild dogs to witness or over 300 types of birds to learn about and see. For those wanting to watch from a statutory position then the deck and watchtower can assist you.
Children are more than welcome on the resort but we recommend other game reserve hotels and lodges ahead of Jamala, Madikwe for family holidays.
Pilanesberg International Airport is 103km's away and is the nearest one to Madikwe.. Other helicopter or plane options are available straight to Jamala, Midakwe.
