Setting the scene

Set on the un-spoilt plains of the Northern Serengeti, close to the famous Lamai Wedge, Sayari gives easy access to the Mara River and multiple river crossing points. This area has been almost completely untouched by tourists and is only now beginning to gain recognition for all of the amazing sights it has to offer. This stylish, award winning camp is perfectly located near the famous Lamai Wedge migration route and several migration crossing points along the Mara River where sightings of the herds plunging into the water are frequent and spectacular.

Sleeping

The camp is split into two wings. Each wings has its own dinning, bar and lounge tent. One wing consists of nine tents and the other has six. The tents are spacious and comfortable each designed beutifully, equipped with a king size bed or twin beds, a huge bath tub, shower and sinks. All tents have the own veranda overlooking the Serengeti plains where guests can observe the animals grazing in the bush.

Doing

Enjoy daily game drives to get sightings of the African wildlife or perhaps go walking to take in the amazing surroundings. Off-road driving and balloon safaris is also popular activity for the more adventurous guest! Relax by the lovely pool or enjoy some spa facilities if you would like to indulge in some pampering after an early morning game drive.

Playing

Children over the age of 6 are more than welcome to stay at the Sayari Camp. However there are no specific facilities for them, but an extra bed can be added to the tents if required. Families with younger children will be required to have a private vehicle when they go on safari.

Arriving

From Kenyatta Airport, Nairobi, its a 1 hour international flight to Arusha Airport, followed by a 45 minute flight to Kogatende airstrip. From the airstrip, the camp is then a 5 minute drive away.
