Setting the scene

andBeyond Serengeti Under Canvas offers a thrilling and unique adventure. You will be camping out under the stars, experiencing a traditional Tanzanian safari in complete privacy and absolute luxury! The camp is carefully planned to bring you as close to the action of the Great Migration as possible. This migratory camp's location moves throughout the year to allow you to see first hand the annual mass migration of wildebeest and other herbivore , whilst also exploring the remote and beautiful corners of the Serengeti, home to the greatest concentration of big game on the planet.

Over two million animals participate in the Great Migration, with some 500,000 zebra moving ahead of and 200,000 Thomson’s gazelle coming behind the main players – one and a half million wildebeest. Considered one of the greatest spectacles of the natural world, the campsite moves four times a year in order for you to have the best viewing experience possible!
