What we love

There are a great range of water sports available at Amankila. At the beach cub you will find hobie cats, kayaks and windsurfing, however guests can also enjoy some of the best surfing, scuba diving, and snorkelling found in Bali.

34 Rooms & Suites

Setting the scene

Overlooking Mountainous terrain, stupendous ocean and characterful forestry, Amankila is the epitome of restfulness. The contemporary design does not lack character and possesses an exceptional finish to every detail.

The 34 personally designed suites are raised to make full use of the scintillating scenery and combine wood features with state of the art design. The pairing along with the natural artwork outside is a privilege to behold. Various suites offer privacy to the extreme and why not take a step further, not leave your room and enjoy a private butler.

Dine with privacy with your own waiter and candle lit by the sea, let your personal chef design whatever you desire. Amankila boasts a candlelit bay on the high up on the hills, so enjoy early evening canapes and cocktails from prime position to watch the sun set. A wide range of local Indonesian cuisine is performed to precision at the Rijsttafels dinner, divulge in the restaurant, in your suite or even on the beach. Megibung is a classic Balinese form of sharing dishes around a symbolic cone of rice, a must for the historical and adventurous.

Old Bali has a royal and history filled theme to it and is well worth discovering, the palaces, villages and temples are a particular highlight. A variety of water sports are available and marine life is to be explored just a stones throw from the resort. If the outdoor energetic life is for you, then go elephant riding, white water rafting and a whole lot more. At the other end of the scale simply relax in the extensive spa available, we recommend a mix of both!

Amankila does not have set out and organised children's clubs or groups. The exclusivity of the resort and surrounding excursions do however make it a suitable family destination.

Denpasar International Airport is a 1 hour drive away.
