What we love
Sihanoukville is the premier beach destination of Cambodia and a perfect place to relax after a few days exploring the temples of Angkor. The mainland has become a little saturated with backpackers and budget hotels in recent years, however this is the perfect gateway to the island of Koh Rong. These islands offer exquisite white sandy beaches with options to cater to all visitors. Stretching out for miles, the majority of hotels and villas are found on the the main islands, but there are a few hidden gems on the small islands located nearby. Ranging from smaller boutique properties up to the large all inclusive resorts.
A visit to the coast is a perfect way to culminate your trip to Cambodia, relax in a tranquil environment and rejuvenate in the sun. Allow at least 5-7 days to maximize your time here.

WHO SHOULD VISIT
Sihnoukville is a glorious place to sit back and take in the sunshine, making it perfect for all types of travelers, whether on a honeymoon, traveling solo, as a family or part of a group.
The island hopping and luxury resorts portray a honeymoon destination, however there are also fantastic options for families and groups as well.
WHEN TO VISIT
The beaches are warm all year round, however there are several seasons that can influence the best time to visit. The peak season runs from November through till May, which is known as the dry season. The best time to experience Sihnoukville is November - February where you can enjoy the beach in comfortable temperatures, clear blue skies and lower humidity, from March till May this the temperatures start to reach 33-35°C and the humidity rises which can make it less comfortable when combining with the temples.
The other half of the year from June - October sees the rainy season come to the forefront.
November - May: Peak time, lovely temperature perfect for the beach.
June - October: Rainy season begins, the low season has some great promotions to take advantage of. Our top tip is to explore in the morning as rain usually hits in the afternoon.
