What we love
St Regis Bora Bora is the perfect choice for that ultimate honeymoon. They even have a dedicated Romance Concierge!
Setting the scene
On a remote lagoon surrounded by coral reef and overlooked by the mighty Mount Otemanu, the St Regis Bora Bora has an idyllic location for rest, relaxation, rejuvenating, discovering and exploring. Your personal butler will take care of all your requests and ensure that your stay has a wow factor to match the scenery.
With all accommodation being either an overwater or beach villa, panoramic water views are assured. The over water villas are beautifully finished in natural woods and Polynesian style with most having a whirlpool or plunge pool on the sun terrace for an indulgent swim above the lagoon. The overwater villas fan out away from the restaurants and main resort area giving ultimate privacy to those further out but much shorter walks to dinner for those positioned closer. The beach villas are large and airy and have the benefit of direct beach access. They feature private gardens and plunge pools.
Proving that an island stay doesn't have to mean limited dining, the St Regis boasts four restaurants offering a mouth watering range of dishes and cuisines between them. Under the majesty of Mount Otemanu, the resort's signature restaurant Lagoon, specialises in fresh seafood with a French and Asian twist. Te Pahu is a beachside restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving local delicacies in the Tahitian style alongside Asian and internationally influenced dishes. The dessert menu is equally impressive! For something a little different try the Sushi Take Restaurant, a true taste of Japan in the South Pacific whilst the Far Niente Ristorante dazzles the taste buds with fresh Italian dishes. The Aparima Bar is a poolside oasis and is open all day for refreshments and snacks.
Perhaps unsurprisingly the ocean plays a large role in the activities on offer at the St Regis! There is no better place to start than the resort's very own saltwater lagoon which is home to many native fish and corals and even includes stingrays which glide effortlessly and gracefully through the clear water. Exploring further afield try scuba diving to get an even better look at the marine life or sit back and take in the views from an afternoon or evening cruise.
For those wanting to explore on land there are hiking tours and bicycles for hire to discover the forests and coastline. To burn off more energy there is a gym, tennis courts, kite surfing and yoga classes. Please note that there are additional charges for activities.
A resort within a resort, the Miri Miri Spa by Clarins at the St Regis has its own island in the lagoon with spectacular views of the mountain and beach. The selection of treatments available combines Polynesian, Asian and Western therapies and is the perfect way to feel stress fall away from you
Families are welcomed at the St Regis and children encouraged to play on the beaches and in the pool. The Kids Creativity Club offers a range of activities to amuse younger guests including Polynesian crafts and story telling. Babysitting and cribs for rooms are available on request.
A number of international airlines fly to Papeete, the main airport for French Polynesia. You will be met at the airport and guided to your boat transfer to the resort. This is a shared boat transfer so there may be additional passengers joining from other flights, however, waiting time is used efficiently to check guests in so you have a seamless arrival at the resort.
