What we love

“What’s not to love? Beach front hotel basking in supreme service in one of the Caribbean’s most exotic islands – this is paradise found. Who could possibly say no to a personalised butler service, daily fruit bowl, champagne and strawberries, a nightly turndown service and a maid in attendance daily?!”

The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas

105 Rooms & Suites

Setting the scene

Formerly a private, colonial estate in the fashionable island of Paradise Island, this estate is now the home to the exclusive Ocean Club, which has recently been rebranded as a Four Seasons Resort. In keeping with the ethos of this well regarded chain of hotels, the Ocean Club does not let the side down. Delectable dining, supreme and seamless service and the life of luxury, this world class hotel is certainly paradise found! Nestled on the shore of the Caribbean Sea, the hotel is an oasis enveloped with clear, turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. Time stands still here. The stage is set against the tranquil coastline of the Bahamas and atmosphere of elegance and sophistication for a once in a lifetime holiday.

Sleeping

Reflecting the refined qualities of an elegant home, all 105 Bahamas luxury guestrooms, suites, and villas at The Ocean Club exude a warm and inviting ambience with modern conveniences. The discreet services of a personal butler, 24 hours a day, are included and we urge you to make use of them, they are world class. The hotel’s accommodations are presented in two distinct wings, Hartford and Crescent, and come with spacious balconies or patios offering mesmerising garden or ocean views.

Eating

The Ocean Club's award-winning Nassau Bahamas restaurants appeal to even the most discerning palates. Whether you prefer a casual breakfast served on your terrace, a light lunch poolside, or an intimate dinner for two beneath a canopy of stars or overlooking the sea, there is something to satisfy every appetite—from the culinary mastery of renowned Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, to a formal Afternoon Tea, to beachside dining on tropical fare. In-room dining menu is also available 24 hours a day for those who do not wish to stray from their rooms. The historic Courtyard Terrace is renowed amongst Nassau Bahamas restaurants. It features a fountain, reflecting pool and overhanging palms which create an elegant garden setting that complements the Mediterranean-influenced, contemporary cuisine served on select evenings. Set atop a white sand bluff overlooking the sea, Dune indulges all of your senses. Renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten presides over the menu, creating an imaginative blend of French Asian dishes infused with local herbs and Bahamian flavours.

Doing

The very nature of the Bahamas revolves around water so, naturally, water plays a key role in the activity programme offered by The Ocean Club. The pristine beach stretches for miles, while the Versailles Pool is serene and relaxed. There is now also a separate Family Pool, especially designed for children and featuring a waterfall and aqua toys. And for those in search of the active way of life when on holiday, then you will find solace in the hotel’s championship 18 hole golf course, that not only promises an exhilarating round of golf but rewards its guests with spectacular views. This 18-hole, par-72 course stretches over 7,100 yards on Paradise Island's peninsula, where crosswinds challenge even the most experienced of players! There are also their 4 floodlit tennis courts as well as fully equipped fitness centre complete with personal trainers to help keep the pounds off!

The Kids Only Club keeps little ones (4-12 year olds) entertained with a fantastic range of fun activities and games including arts and crafts, beach games, sporting events, films, computer games and exploration of the marine habitat at nearby Atlantis, Paradise Island.
