Setting the scene
This resort is set on Grand Anse beach which has often been described as one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. Having recently undergone a multi-million dollar enhancement programme, this stunning resort sprawls eight acres but has all the personal touches, including being personally greeted by the owner Sir Royston Hopkins, making you instantly feel like part of the family.
A choice of sixty-four beachfront, pool or garden view suites are on offer at the resort, each with an elegant and airy feel. The newly added Cinnamon and Saffron suites are available as one or two bedrooms and are located directly on the luxuriant carpet of sand making them a beach lover's dream. For honeymooners looking for a bit of privacy and a private pool, the Anthurium and Luxury Almond Pool Suites are the perfect choice.
Authentic in design, local cuisine, and Caribbean sounds, Oliver's Restaurant boasts an exceptional Creole and international menu created with local produce and spices. This is a fantastic place to experience find dining whilst enjoying the sweet island sounds of Grenada's calypso, reggae and steel bands, making every meal a delight. It is worth noting that for dinner, guests must be 5 years and older.
You can while away the days at Spice Island doing everything or nothing. Complimentary water sports such as Hobie-cats, snorkelling, kayaking, tennis and cycling are great for all the family. Or for the more adventurous, a host of tours and exciting trips, including visits to the rainforest, a stop at the Saturday market or sailing charters can be arranged for your stay. Diving is also a fantastic way to explore the crystal clear waters with PADI certified diving available for all levels.
Offering a supervised play space the youngsters, The Nutmeg Pod is a programme designed with the younger (and older) guests in mind with lots of fun activities and games. The Pod gives both parents and children an opportunity to make the most of their holiday and caters to children from ages 3 to 12 on a daily basis. Babysitting can also be arranged at an additional cost.
