What we love
A hidden Caribbean gem offering complete and utter relaxation on one of the most naturally beautiful private islands in the world.
Setting the scene
Located in the southernmost of the Lesser Antilles, Petit St. Vincent is a private islet of just 115 lush acres surrounded by coral-sand beaches. The ultimate in Robinson Crusoe luxury, the island has scarcely a sign of habitation; no vehicles, barely a building, and very few people dwell on the island - unadulterated bliss. Perfect for those seeking privacy and peace in a naturally beautiful setting, with all of the luxuries and comforts of a luxury resort this is the perfect place to escape and unwind.
With just 22 cottages (16 one-bedroom and 6 two-bedroom) you can be assured maximum privacy and comfort whether located along the bluffs or a few steps from the inviting turquoise sea. With no phones, TVs or internet in the cottages, you really can travel back in time and should you desire to dine on your veranda interact with no one but the staff. In keeping with the rest of the resort, furnishings are modern and contemporary, made from teak, natural materials and fabrics with soft pastel hues. We also love the room service flag system, for some personal "do not disturb" down time simply raise a red flag or a yellow flag for butler service.
Wherever you choose to dine on the island, you'll be guaranteed locally grown or caught fresh ingredients, created using classic Caribbean techniques from a talented team of chefs. Offering both indoor and outdoor dining, the Main Restaurant invites you to a casual and relaxed dining experience overlooking the harbour. For a truly authentic Caribbean dining experience (whilst watching the sunset with the sand between your toes), the Beach Restaurant and bar is the place to kick back and sample the locally caught charcoal-grilled fish or crispy clay oven pizzas. For the ultimate in seclusion take advantage of the in-room dining service.
If relaxing on the golden sands or enjoying a Balinese massage in the beautiful Hillside Spa isn't for you, then why not take advantage of the many watersports on offer on the island for all ages and skill levels. Snorkelling, kayaking and windsurfing can all be enjoyed on a complimentary basis from the watersports centre. Deep Sea fishing is a must during your stay, where you can try your luck at catching supper. Yoga, hiking, jogging, tennis and fitness trails can all be enjoyed inland, or if golf is your thing why not hop over to the nearby island of Canouan for 18 holes.
The hotel welcomes children of all ages, however, there is no kids club at the resort.
From Barbados, you will fly to nearby Union Island, where a Petit St. Vincent representative will be waiting to escort you to our private launch. Then it's just a short 20-minute boat ride to the private island.
