Fleming Villa Jamaica, Caribbean & Mexico
GoldenEye in Oracabessa, Jamaica is something of an institution with its rich history and links to the foundations of Jamaica’s musical culture it attracts visitors from far and wide.
Most notably GoldenEye’s original proprietor was none other than the author Ian Fleming who made GoldenEye his home in Jamaica after the second world war. More recently, in 1976 the resort was purchased by Reggae music legend Chris Blackwell, founder of Island Records. Chris has since has grown the original 19 acre property, with just Fleming’s Villa, into a 52-acre world class resort.
In total there are 19 accommodations (including Fleming’s own villa, where he wrote 13 of the James Bond 007 Novels) which are set among secluded beaches tropical gardens and a singular lagoon.
Of the 5 two bedroom cottages within the resort four are located right on the beach at Low Cay and 1 is situated on the lagoon. All Two Bedroom Villas accommodate four adults and can sleep up to two children on the queen-sized daybed in living room.
