Whilst there are many activities and excursions on offer here, this is also a retreat, so take your time, relax, and maybe have a cocktail while you decide what to do tomorrow.
All rooms and suites at the One & Only Palmilla are graciously appointed and boast attractive sea views of either the Pacific Ocean or the Sea of Cortez from their balconies or patios. A 24 hour butler service will see to all your needs and the extensive list of complimentary amenities will ensure your comfort. There is a wide range of room and suite types and sizes, all are spacious, elegant and feature Mexican wood and art.
The sumptuous nature of the One & Only Palmilla continues with the wonderful array of dining options. "Mexiterranean" is the fabulous fusion of flavours by award winning chef Larbi Dahrouch and is served in the casually elegant, alfresco, Agua by Larbi Restaurant, overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Meanwhile, Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten offers a fine dining experience not to be missed at the Market Restaurant, presenting Euro-Asian cuisine alongside a stunning wine list and a great dessert menu to indulge in. For something a little different, Suviche offers a range of cerviches and sushi with live entertainment. For lighter lunches try the Breeze Cafe, overlooking the pool and the ocean beyond, the perfect spot for an afternoon snack or sundowner cocktail.
With it's enviable position on the Baja Peninsula, the One & Only Palmilla has got a whole host of ways for you to enjoy this dazzling coastline. As the only luxury resort on the peninsula with a swimmable beach, take advantage of Pelican Beach and the non motorised water sports such as kayaking and snorkelling that are complimentary to One & Only Palmilla guests. To explore further scuba diving and deep sea fishing trips are available. If you prefer to relax by the pool, the resort has three to choose from, including infinity pools and an adult only option. For the ultimate in relaxation make a visit to the on site spa for a well deserved pamper session. |Alongside the resort is the Jack Nicklaus Championship Golf Course but if that isn't your game you can try your luck on the flood lit tennis courts or the full size basketball court.|To discover more of the peninsula there is a selection of activities and excursions from camel safaris, horse riding adventures and off-road buggies to guided star gazing and swimming with dolphins. If you are here during the winter months ( December to March), don't miss the grey whale migration. The resort is ideally located to watch as the giant mammals breach the surface of the ocean as they travel from the Arctic.
Children are very welcome at the One & Only Palmilla and a fun packed itinerary of entertainment and activity is carefully planned for each day. Exposure to the Mexican culture is also included through Spanish and cookery lessons. KidsOnly Club is open to children aged up to eleven. Children under four are welcome with a parent or guardian.
