What we love

The cultural and historical sites of ancient Greece

Mainland Greece

The destination

Greece's mainland is an excellent destination and extremely diverse. From the spectacular coastline, the many historic landmarks to unspoiled fishing villages full of character and charm.

Shaped like Poseidon’s trident and sticking out into the Aegean Sea, the three peninsulas of Halkidiki host 500km of beautiful beaches, lush green forests and stylish resorts. Among this intoxicating blend of blue and green, you will find many hotel complexes built to the highest standards, particularly on the first of the three “legs”, cosmopolitan Kassandra. On the West coast of Kassadra you'll find the luxury and family friendly Sani Resort. Heading East, the second of the three "legs", Sithonia is a real treat for the senses with less organised beaches and untouched hidden spots. Amongst the greenery, one of the most luxurious hotels in Greece can be found on the shores of Sithonia - Danai Beach Resort and Villas

If you're looking to escape and venture a little further off the beaten track, the scenic south-west Peloponnese is the perfect destination. Shaped like a plane tree leaf, its beaches are among the finest and least developed in the country, and the landscape inland is stunning – dominated by forested mountains cut by some of the most captivating valleys and gorges. Hosting crumbling castles and archaeological sites, the Peloponnese is rich in ancient history and has been attracting many visitors for years. We recommend the luxury Greek hilltop hotel Amanzoe or the beachfront boutique resort - The Romanos.
