Luxury Santorini Holidays

Greece

The destination

Devastated by a volcanic eruption in 16th century BC, causing the centre of the island to collapse, Santorini has since become one of the most picturesque places in Greece and a natural wonder of the Aegean.

Sat between Athens and Crete, this world-famous island forms the southernmost member of the Cyclades group. Here you can enjoy a dramatic landscape and incredible ocean views whilst wandering the charming cliffside villages peppered with whitewashed houses and blue-domed churches.

The main town of Thira boasts a great range of tavernas, gourmet restaurants and open-air lounge bars dotted along the cliff edge and is the perfect place to sip a pre-dinner cocktail while enjoying Greece's most photographed sunset. Travel to the Northern tip of the island to the small town of Oia, home to narrow cobbled streets lined with stylish boutiques and smart jewellery shops.

Although one of the most picturesque Greek islands, you will not find white sandy beaches here; instead you can appreciate the multicolored volcanic sand, pebbles and jagged cliffs.

Why not extend your stay in Greece and visit the glamorous island of Mykonos too?

If Santorini isn’t on your bucket list, it certainly should be!
