Eating

The onsite De Paul Restaurant at Katikies Garden Santorini serves up traditional Mediterranean cuisine and fine wines in a historic setting at the heart of the former monastery site. Inspired by Greek local Vincent De Paul, who founded the congregation of the Lazaristes back in 1622 in order to serve the poor, the monastery was the site of Vinsanto wine production which was then stored and distributed to Rome's iconic Vatican City. Classic dishes on the carefully constructed a la carte menu at De Paul Restaurant include Aegean cod, Cretan suckling pig and lamb kleftiko, whilst the wine menu is handpicked from the monastery's ancient wine cellar by Master of Wine Yannis Karakasis. Beautifully decorated with tables dotted around the covered and open air terraces of the monastery, De Paul Restaurant provides an excellent dining experience that will be a real highlight during your stay at Katikies Garden Santorini.

Doing

As well as enjoying fantastic food at the historic De Paul Restaurant, you can also indulge in wine tasting classes with Master of Wine Yannis Karakasis, visiting some of Santorini's most well known vineyards. There's a bar and cafe onsite at the hotel, as well as gorgeous gardens to enjoy too. The world renowned A.Spa offers the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate, with treatment rooms designed for couples or pairs to enjoy being pampered at the same time. Treatments include hot-stone, Swedish, Thai and sports massages, as well as facials and other beauty treatments too. There's also an outdoor swimming pool overlooking the ocean with comfortable loungers and day beds to enjoy the sun from. If you want to explore all that Santorini has to offer, your 24/7 concierge will help you plan your itinerary and see all the sights whilst you're there.
