57 rooms and 15 suites complete this 72-room hotel, all boasting stunning and varying views, be it over the green hills of Monte Solaro or over the seas and the gulf of Naples. The artwork is stylish, the interiors are slick and the ambience whispers the sounds of the Mediterranean with suave and smooth tones throughout. For real va-va-voom, book the Paltrow Presidential Suite, located on the top floor; this 2-bedroom suite is 150 sqm and is a mono-chromed art deco delight with a roof terrace and a plunge pool and larger swimming pool, a space of extravagant and classy opulence.
L'Olivo, the islands only restaurant to have been awarded with 2 Michelin stars, is this art hotel's masterpiece. Chef Andrea Migliaccio's menu is a modern interpretation of the traditional flavours of the region, it is a truly exceptional experience The second restaurant is the 1 Michelin starred Il Riccio - A stunning blue and white-washed Mediterranean mix, delight in the dishes crafted by the chefs in their open kitchen, a theatre adorned in Majolica tiles from Vietri. For those favouring a more casual experience and simpler flavours then head to the roof terrace of Bistrot Ragu where you will find traditional rustic dishes served against the backdrop of draw-dropping sea views. For the beginning of an evening, head to the Bar deglia Artisti which is a studio of major works of art in which you can coincidentally enjoy viewing with a glass in hand and live music swirling in the background. For the perfect end to an evening, make for the Dolce Vite wine cellar where over 10,000 wine bottles await your arrival, guided under the expertise and personality of Sommelier Angelo Di Costanzo.
The award winning artistry and flare swirls throughout the hotel and into the Capri Beauty Farm: a pioneering medical Spa which guests flock from far and wide to indulge in the legendary treatments. Boat trips and excursions can also be taken if you want to get even closer to the sparkling sea. One in particular that is not to be missed is the trip to Capri's famous Blue Grotto and should you eventually manage to tear yourself away from the hotel then there is a chairlift that you can take to the highest point of the island of Capri, and of course the boutique shops of Capri are never fair away should you be in need of some retail therapy.
The hotel welcomes children and has a policy of the one child up to the age of 10 stays for free with parents. The suites are the perfect choice for families, especially those with their own private plunge pool and enclosed private gardens that provide the ideal outdoor space for children.
The nearest airport is Naples, around a 40 minute journey to the island. You'll be met on the quayside with a chauffeured car to the hotel. Helicopter transfers are also available from Naples Airport to Capri.
