Setting the scene
This hotel is slice of vibrant luxury, a cluster of villas set amongst olive trees, cypress-trees, oleanders, bougainvillea, rosemary and lavender - the scents of Tuscany will surround and invade your senses, all highly welcomed we assure you.
The hotel offers 50 rooms in total, of which 17 are Standard rooms with view over the park, 16 Sea View rooms, 5 Junior Suites and 10Deluxe Suites, all with equally stunning yet ranging outlooks. Rooms can be located in the main building or in one of those cottages and are decorated in a welcoming, cottage-style, with exposed wooden beams, simple yet stylish furnishings so not to distract from the views. All of them are distinctly designed but all ultimately unique - and without a doubt Italian.
Il Pellicano restaurant thrills and satisfies all the senses. Under the guidance of chef Antonio Guida, the menu continually surprises and enthrals its critics - never failing to serve up the fragrances and flavours of traditional Italian gastronomy in an innovative fashion. For a relaxed and casual light lunch head to the seaside where will you find the traditional Il Pelligrill serving day light meals all day, perfect for a post boat trip meal. As you are in Tuscany, home to the vineyards of many a famed Old World wines, La Cantina is the place to savour and delight in many of these vintages under the local experts proud guidance. Continue on late into the evening, take to the Bar & Cocktail where a Pelican Martini awaits to tickle your taste buds accompanied by carefully chosen finger food. Be warned though, Federico Morosi, the bartender here, actively encourages his guests to try a new drink every evening!
Cocktail classes are held by the legendary barman Federico - truly putting Tom Cruise to shame! And of course as you would expect of a hotel of this calibre there is more than enough to keep those who are looking for a horizontal, relaxed state more than occupied. For a refreshing start to the morning you can swim in the heated seawater swimming pool surrounded by the scent of Mediterranean plants, or plunge into the carpet like ocean on the white sane beach just moments away. Back in the hotel, there is the stunning neutral finished spa & wellness centre with an array of treatments using locally source and natural products to while away an afternoon, as well as a fully equipped gym and trainers.

The closest airport to Il Pelicano is Rome Fiumicino airport; 2-hour drive away. Or you can fly to Pisa airport, which is slightly further away; approximate a 3-hour drive away.
