What we love

The beach at the St Regis is one of the best in Mauritius. A long golden expanse with the backdrop of the imposing Le Morne mountain.

St Regis Mauritius

172 Rooms & Suites

Setting the scene

A five star luxury resort on the south-western side of Mauritius, The St Regis basks on white sands, amongst the swaying palm trees, overlooking the bluest of blue lagoons located in front of the dramatic Le Morne mountain. Known as the largest boutique hotel on the island, here nature collides with nurture and is the epitome of superb standards. The rooms and suites are all designed to the highest standard as testament to their legacy, the service impeccable and unwavering, and the food a culinary delight.

Sleeping

The resort features 172 rooms and suites including Spa Suites and Villas. Designed in a traditional colonial style with interiors complimenting contemporary, traditional and indigenous styles. Neutral tones provide a real sense of relaxation. The suites all come with a private terrace/balcony overlooking the ocean and plenty of outside space. All perfectly appointed and in varying sizes dependent on your needs.

For the ultimate experience, The St Regis Villa comes with its own exclusive team, including butler, manager, chef and security guards, as well as 3 private plunge pools and one infinity pool, overlooking the famous One Eye surf spot.

Eating

Dining in one of the many restaurants at The St Regis is part of the experience. Reflecting the atmosphere of a dining room in a stately home, Le Manoir Dining Room combines exotic Mauritian flavours with classic French cooking. Simply India is anything but simple with tandoori specialities and Goan delicacies. Inspired by the chef's daily whims, the dining at Inspiration is intimate to say the least, with only two tables, as if in the chef's own kitchen, where guests can be included in the preparation and then enjoy what they have created. The Boathouse Bar & Grill is a beachside gourmet experience where guests can eat with their feet in the sand and enjoy fresh grilled fish and seafood.

Doing

For those who don't just go on holiday to relax but rather to see how many watersports they can fit into a day, there is every sport you can think of from waterskiing to windsurfing, kayaking to glass-bottom boat trips, all of which are complementary. For a few bob extra there are delights such as diving, deep-sea fishing and swimming with dolphins. To acclimatise back into the ambient tranquillity of the resort at the end of a hard day's activities, search out the Iridium Spa and indulge in a range of treatments using the purest, natural ingredients. And don't forget the trusty white sandy beach waiting to welcome you back with open arms.

Playing

The Kite Flyers Children’s Club accepts children from 4 – 12 years and is open from 9am until 8pm. It has a contemporary feel and facilities include a pool, sandpit, play area and sleeping area. There are a wide range of activities on offer. Teenagers are not forgotten with their own hang out room and in resort cinema.
