What we love
One of the United State’s most treasured states of the Deep South, Arizona is a fascinating destination full of quirks and surprises. Within this large state, the 6th largest in the USA, there is a clear north-south divide. A divide largely defined by its landscapes; in the southern area it is mainly desert thoroughfare with hot summers and mild winters. By contrast, the northern area is awash with pine forests, mountain ranges and large, deep canyons enjoying more moderate temperatures in the summer and significant snowfall in the winter. And with this latter climate comes the opportunity to ski in some of United States’ supreme resorts. Those in search of a little downtime will be pleased to discover that Arizona is home to Scottsdale, the spa capital of the world. It goes without saying, therefore, that Arizona is a melting pot for activities and opportunities. No where else in the world is there truly something for everyone.
An incomparable All American dream is guaranteed here. And whilst we are not ones to give into stereotyping, if you are in search of the authentic Wild West then you cannot afford to miss out on Arizona. Take to horseback and explore the rugged, wild terrain before camping under the stars against the flaming red sunsets of the remote deserts. Indulge in the sizzling steaks that are cooked out on the BBQ (by your very own cowboy if you wish!) and take to the dazzling bright lights of the USA’s most populous state, the capital of Arizona; Phoenix. This lively capital is iconic in its name but also in its location – never will the novelty wear off of the quite simply astounding sight that greets you as you fly over the skyline, a neon metropolis against an impressive background of South Mountain range yonder, and surrounded by desert.
