What we love

Yee-hah! Golf-playing cowboys and girls will love the Four Seasons Scottsdale, where you can immerse yourself in desert life - or just kick back and admire the awe-inspiring scenery.

Four Seasons Scottsdale

210 Rooms & Suites

Setting the scene

Nestled in the foothills of the Pinnacle Peak with its unique rock formations, the Four Seasons Scottsdale is located in an intimate setting in the Sonoran Desert. Blending into the cactus-filled landscape with carefully designed, Western-inspired accommodation, it feels more like a village than a hotel. The spectacular golf course is a strong lure to this desert retreat and the attractions of Scottsdale are within easy reach to make the most of your Arizona adventure.

A total of 25 one and two-storey adobe casitas house the 210 generously sized guest rooms, including 22 luxury suites. Elegantly furnished in colours of the desert, each room opens up onto a private, landscaped terrace or balcony with magnificent desert views. Gas-burning fireplaces are great for warming your toes on a chillier evening, whilst the plush beds and L'Occitane toiletries make for a very comfortable stay.

The Talavera steakhouse embraces the Southwestern vibe with both its decor and its authentic, locally sourced ranch meats - delicious! Dine on the terrace overlooking the desert or inside the modern, yet cosy restaurant. Proof is an American canteen and the perfect casual dining experience with hearty food and lively ambience; a railroad track runs through the dining room, whilst the TV, games room and bustling bar create a buzz about the place. For poolside snacks, Saguaro Blossom has got it covered, whilst the sophisticated Onyx Bar & Lounge is a beautiful spot to watch the sun go down - and perhaps knock back a tequila or two!

Two championship golf courses - The Pinnacle and The Monument are available for guests to use at the adjacent Troon North Golf Club, with special guest privileges at the clubhouse. If you prefer a racquet to a putter, you can practice your tennis on one of two Nova Pro courts. |The outdoor oasis of the pool is perfect for relaxing and admiring the picturesque view. Heated all year round, the bi-level pool is surrounded by foliage, offering welcome shade at times. At one end there's a lovely children's area - perfect for splashing about; at the other, a soothing whirlpool for adults. The fitness suite is well equipped and with views of the Pinnacle Peak; a great way to start the day, before unwinding at the full-service spa. A wide range of skin, body and hair treatments, inspired by local ingredients, are available in the 14 treatment rooms. |The hotel's stargazing specialist can uncover the secrets of the night sky through a professional telescope, whilst wine-tasting is featured at the Talavera. |Guided hikes up the Pinnacle Peak allow you to appreciate the full beauty of the Sonoran desert - make sure you go at sundown for a spectacular sunset. |Budding cowboys can take part in the 'Cowboy for a Day' experience. Arizona Cowboy College takes you off to a nearby ranch where you get buckled up and taught how to groom and saddle your horse, before riding a trail through the northern Scottsdale region. The day ends with a wild-west campfire under the stars - magical!

The Four Seasons Kids for All Seasons camp is available for 5 to 12 year olds and includes a daily programme of activities - from treasure hunts to dodgeball, cookie decorating to arts and crafts. Kids also have access to a pool table, ping-pong and Lego table as well as board games, movies, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. Budding spa lovers can enjoy mini treatments at the 'Bubble Gum Bash' and all meals for children under four are complimentary.

Four Seasons Scottsdale is a 45-minute car journey (60km) from the nearest airport, Phoenix Sky Harbour International Airport (PHX). Transfers can be arranged although many guests choose to hire cars for their stay here as there is so much to see and do in the local area.
