What we love
If you enjoy a city whose people are as sunny as the weather, beaches that epitomise the white sand and blue waters of picture postcards, and a city that truly knows how to party, but at the end of the day you just like to go 'home', pop your slippers on and recharge, then The Setai is the place for you.
Setting the scene
From its prime location on Miami Beach, The Setai is the playground of the rich and famous. With its social, cultural and architectural heritage combining Far Eastern with Art Deco, it stands comfortably and unperturbed on the coastline of one of America's most vibrant and lavish cities.
Despite the animated city outside, by contrast The Setai Hotel is itself an oasis of tranquillity, with rooms that invite rest and relaxation. Choose from the Art Deco suites or The Ocean Suites, both designed to give you respite from the chaos of the world outside. But when you're ready to get back out there and soak up the excitement, The Setai's doors open directly onto the famous Miami Beach, where you can start all over again.
There are several options for dining at The Setai. There is The Restaurant, overseen by chef Mathias Gervais, which features traditional flavours of Europe's 'Sun Coast', particularly Spain, Italy, the South of France and Provence. The Setai Grill where 'East meets West', combining the modern steak house with Asian-inspired speciality dishes. For a more relaxed atmosphere, The Bar & Courtyard provides al fresco dining where Asian small plates are paired with global wine, champagne and cocktails, there is also live music to enjoy. Or have it all brought to you from The Pool & Beach Bar whilst lounging by one of the 3 temperature-controlled, azure pools.
With a city like Miami on the doorstep there is plenty to keep you entertained. With the blue waters of South Beach shimmering invitingly, there is no excuse not to take a dip or even perhaps try a jet ski, provided exclusively for guests by The Setai Hotel. Fancy something a little more grounded, then wander up and down what has been dubbed America's Riviera, where you will find a mix of world-class boutiques and galleries. Or saunter down Ocean Drive, which has played host to many a film crew. And once you tire of all the excitement that Miami has to offer, The Setai Hotel will help you to wind down in their luxury Spa.
There are no amenities for children.
The Setai is located at 2001 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, and is 15 miles from Miami International Airport.
