Setting the scene
Las Vegas is bright, loud and exciting, and does everything just that bit bigger than the rest of the world, and The Cosmopolitan is no exception. With 2995 rooms, a casino, a 1800-seat theatre, restaurants and shops and a spa, (oh my!) it is a force to be reckoned with and the only way to truly experience a city like Las Vegas.
Dominating the Las Vegas skyline with its impressive high-rise towers, The Cosmopolitan boasts 2995 rooms, many of which feature their own private terrace overlooking the bright lights of this extraordinary city. The rooms are in keeping with the size of everything else and are large, each fully-equipped with all modern conveniences in plush, modern surroundings. And there's no need to hide your beloved pooch in your handbag, away from the searching eyes of the hotel staff, because dogs are very welcome at The Cosmopolitan.
Not surprisingly, food is a big deal at The Cosmopolitan, with no less than 14 restaurants the choices are literally endless. Rose. Rabbit. Lie. is the unusually-named social club which isn't really sure what it is - restaurant, bar, club, live entertainment? - but suggests you 'Come when you want. Leave when you wish. Grab a drink, snack or dine. And let the night take the lead". There is also China Poblano a new concept by chef Jose Andres serving Chinese and Mexican cuisines. And Estiatorio Milos, widely published as one of America's finest Greek restaurants. You could literally stay for a month at The Cosmopolitan and never eat the same dish twice.
In keeping with the vastness of everything Las Vegas, The Cosmopolitan has it all under one roof. Aside from the 1800-deat theatre, the 110,000sq ft casino, the Sahra Spa & Hammam, the Violet Hour Salon, the shopping, the pools and cabanas, there is a host of stars performing in the various venues, and copious events to keep you entertained throughout your stay. And, of course, don't forget to stack your wallet; Las Vegas is all about the gambling, and whether it's horses, sports or the roulette wheel, you're sure to get the bug whether you win or lose.
There are no special facilities for children.
The Cosmopolitan is 3 miles from McCarran International Airport.
