Ibiza beaches

As Ibiza is so big on beach life I made it my mission to visit as much of this gorgeous coastline as possible during my visit. As there are so many beaches to choose from - catering to the fans of a shallow sandy shore, the more adventurous amongst us looking for quiet cove or even the uber luxury beach club such as Blue Marlin I thought I would share my fantastic four!

The first beach I visited was Es Cubells - this area has everything you could wish for in a holiday destination; a quaint Spanish church, delicious restaurants, and a beautiful beach. This area is also perfectly located and would be ideal as a base for those looking to explore as much of the island as possible (which I highly recommend!). There are many fantastic villas in this area for this very reason.

Another very worthy mention was my very memorable visit to the stunning Tagomago island. There is only one word to describe this place - WOW - but more of that another time! I was met by the Ibizan born Island Manager at the Pou des Lleo on the North East Coast and as soon as I saw the rustic taverna serving mojitos (tried and tested - well - it would have been rude not to!) I knew this was going to be something special and that was even before crossing the water. The beach itself is pebbly but that doesn’t put off visitors - it is utterly charming with local fisherman boats and huts - Mediterranean island life at it’s finest.

On an island surrounded by beautiful blue seas what better than to have direct access to the water from your villa? Well you can! Bluebay on the North of the island is something very special - and one of very few properties on the island where you can dip your toe in the water within the (vast) grounds of your own villa. This is a unique property with luxurious and generous accommodation - definitely one to look out for.

Last but by no means least are the stunning sandy shores of Cala Conta on the West of the island. This popular resort for both tourists and locals alike - for very obvious reasons - consists of a long stretch of fine golden sand with stunning clear blue waters (as pictured above) - no, it’s not the Caribbean - that’s Ibiza - and only 2 hours flight what are you waiting for?!

We pride ourselves on knowing not just our villas personally but also the destinations - so give us a call on +44 1993 899430 or make an enquiry to find out more about this diverse island.
