Di Cherry, Head of Private Travel at OS Private Travel, and Mark Gibbins, Director at the Oxford Ski Company have just spent a very busy, but hugely interesting and inspiring few days at the International Luxury Travel Fair, and have returned brimmimg with ideas that we can't wait to pass on to our clients! Every luxury travel provider from all over the world convenes in Cannes to show off their wares to agents and travel companies from all over the world, and Mark and Di have been busy searching out some new, exciting and truly luxurious properties, hotels and experiences to bring to our clients in the future.
We're so excited about some of the fabulous new properties, which will be making their way onto www.osprivatetravel.com and www.oxfordski.com over the next few months…watch this space! Di was particularly impressed with some possible additions to our Private Islands collection and some fabulous possible new villa destinations slightly further afield, and Mark was really excited to learn about some new and very beautiful hotels in Cortina, Italy and St Moritz, Switzerland.
The venue for the ILTM is the world-famous Palais de Congress, which is also the venue for the Cannes Film Festival. Mark was disappointed to find that the red carpet hadn't been left out for him, but Di was far more disappointed that her visit hadn't coincided with that of George Clooney!
