La Bergerie is one of those properties that doesn't come along that often. It is one of our favourite places to visit and, as I re-discovered on a recent stay there, it never fails to amaze, inspire or captivate. Although a large and, on the surface, imposing, house – it is actually one of the most intimate, cosy and welcoming properties that we have visited – it is truly a luxury ‘home’ for you to make your own during a stay here. The warm reception from the house staff make you feel welcome and at ease – nothing is too much trouble levels of service rival those of the best hotels that we have stayed in, and the beds are so comfy you just don't want to get out of them! So, if you’re looking for a property of the utmost beauty and quality (think incredible artworks and stunning furnishings) but where you feel comfortable enough to curl up on the sofas with a good book – this is the perfect property for you.
