We are great believers that if the kids are happy on holiday then so are the adults, and we are more than confident that this would be the case at one of our favourite properties in France - La Bergerie - which is not only a haven for adults but for children too!
The villa is bursting with DVDs (cartoons, films etc for all ages and maybe some good family ones that everyone can watch together), colouring books, pens, glitter, glue, paint, children’s scissors, picture and reading books and all the board games and jigsaws both children and adult desire. For those younger children with a theatrical streak there is a dress up chest, face paints and for the more active there are floats, balls and water pistols to enjoy in the vast 18m swimming pool. For the Bear Grylls amongst them the property can provide bug hunting kits – perfect for both boys and girls to explore the fantastic grounds and gardens.
The staff love nothing more than to involve the children, with activities such as cooking clases and even an Easter egg hunt (courtesy of the Easter Bunny of course) or depending on the time of year you might even catch a glimpse of Santa.
For those who can tear themselves away from the property and wish to explore the local area, there are many activities including canyoning, paddle surfing, via ferrata, mountain biking, climbing, diving, sailing, paintball, sand buggies and lots more! Tailor-made outings can all be organised in advance of your stay, ensuring a great holiday for all the family. And as if this isn’t enough, the nearby Terre Blanche resort has a fantastic Kids Club that is perfectly designed to for 2-12 year olds and everything has been carefully thought-out, developed and created to the same exacting standards and high quality that we insist upon for the grown-ups.
