What a way to spend a day, bobbing around the Bay of St Tropez on a CNB 77' sailing yacht - Swallows and Amazons....sunny days on the Riviera don't come much better than that! Unfortunately though, such perfect weather wasn't ideal for racing as we were supposed to be crewing during Les Voiles de St Tropez , the annual racing week in St Tropez where over 100 of the world's best racing yachts get together to strut their stuff. Although the day didn't provide the exhilarating sailing that we were hoping for, it gave us a great opportunity to check out this fabulous yacht and make the most of the delicious, tempting treats that he yacht's super-talented chef kept passing up from the galley! Our crew was made up of ex-America's Cup sailors who were itching to let the yacht loose and do what it was designed to do, but unfortunately they will have to wait until next time. We, on the other hand, enjoyed the view and the experience of heading back into the most famous 'fishing village' in the world with such a spectacular fleet of yachts. An amazing day....better luck with the wind next year.....
